Malta Pirates

Illustration for 25 Apr. 2010 Sunday's Kathimerini. The right one got rejected for having the name of the country on it (Malta). Both are a marriage of today's Malta's national seal, it's reign of the two Sicily's past (eagle) insignia, and the cross and bones internaationally regonized as a piracy sign. Made in similar manner as the greco-Gagauz emblem.

More on it on Monday.

In the name of the Father - In Absentia

Unfortunately while on my easter break, both the Auschwitz inscription as well as the yellow David star where deleted from the original Konstantinos Plevris ilustration, lowering -up to totally extingushing the mented provocation- still one can only wonder, why did they ever keep the Acropolis behind him?
As a symbol of what? Of him being Greek? Too late! Allready the entire world knows it...

You can read more about it here and here, for a retrospective look here.
